Description for the Panasonic Toughbook CF52 MLBBUPE Open Box Laptop
Look & Feel
This week I am looking at the Panasonic CF52 laptop, one of their famous Toughbook range. Well I now officially feel like I am action hero! This laptop is designed to be tough and robust and looks like something the Army or James Bond would use. So I guess carrying it around the office and to a few meetings is a bit lame. Ok so looks, certainly looks robust even has its own handle just incase you need to grab and run for cover quickly. One thing I have noticed is how heavy it is but this laptop is not designed for softies so I'll stop moaning about the weight.
Features
It's impact resistant, splash proof and designed to be tougher than the rest. I was tempted to drop it on the floor and throw my drink over it to test this, but my boss was watching so I thought better of it. It has a 15.4 inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution. It's got built in Bluetooth and Wireless which work well.
Performance
This tough laptop has 160GB of storage space and runs on a 2.2GHz CPU Intel Core 2 Duo processor which is quite speedy and can handle multiple tasks at once with ease. The battery lasted just over 3 hours which was a little disappointing for something so tough. What am I supposed to do if I get stranded away from a plug!
Value for Money
This laptop is designed to be rough and can take a tumble so if you work in harsh conditions or are someone who is really clumsy then it is worth the price because you probably won™t break it.
Overall
I would recommend this laptop to people who do need something tough as this is what this is mainly designed for. It™s not pretty, but it™s not meant to be. It performs well but the battery could do with lasting longer.
