Acer Iconia Tab A100 gets UK price and release date

One of Acer’s anticipated new tablet devices – the 7-inch Aconia Tab A100 – now has an official UK release date.The Iconia Tab A100 will hit the UK on April 20th, the same day as its 10.1-inch cousin, the A500.
The A100 will retail at £300, making it one of the cheapest tablets to run Google’s Android Honeycomb operating system. The A500 – also running Honeycomb – will set you back £450 on release.

Netbook Navigator prepare to launch Windows 7 tablet

Tech company, Netbook Navigator are preparing to launch their new Nav7 tablet, a device running Windows 7 Home Premium.The 7-inch tablet was first unveiled at CES last year and will feature a multitouch display, an Intel Atom 75xx series processor and will weigh 1.2 lbs.

Fujitsu’s Q550 tablet is unveiled

Fujitsu have unveiled their new Q550 tablet device.The 10.1 inch tablet will run Windows 7 and is scheduled for a U.S. release sometime in spring.
The Q550 sports an LED backlit, capacitive touch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution which supports pen input as well as multi touch. The device comes with 2GB of onboard memory and is powered by an Atom processor.

MSI lineup Android and Windows WindPad double header

MSI are reportedly planning to unveil two new tablet devices; the Android Honeycomb supporting WindPad100A and Windows 7 based WindPad 110W.The unveiling of the devices is due to take place at the CeBit event in Hannover, Germany between the 1st and 5th of March. Both devices are thought to have been created with an emphasis on the multimedia side of things.

ViewSonic launches the ViewPad tablet with dual-boot capability

Visual-technology company, ViewSonic has weighed in with a new tablet device, the 10 inch View Pad 10Pro, which will be able to dual-boot both Windows 7 and Android 2.2.The ViewPad will be released alongside the V350 dual-SIM smartphone, which will allow users to operate different accounts and phone numbers for personal and business usage.

Pioneer announce Windows 7 supporting Dreambook ePad

London based computing firm, Premier have announced their new tablet; the Windows 7 running ePad F10.Pioneer – not to be confused with the Japanese television manufacturers of the same name – have chosen to launch the device with Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system although the device is rumoured to have a dual boot feature, allowing it to run Android also.
The 10.1 inch device will have a pixel resolution of 1024 x 600, as well as a 1.3 mega pixel camera, SD card reader and 8 hours of continuous battery usage.

Acer unleash new member of their Aspire family

Acer have revealed their new Aspire E100 netbook; a device aimed at the education sector.
The E100 netbook will feature a 250 GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Blutetooth 2.1 as well as 1 GB of DDR memory. An unspecified Intel Atom processor will power the device.Outwardly, the Aspire E100 has the feel of a standard netbook, but Acer have said the devices will be individually customisable with an option to incorporate the name and logo of the school into the chassis.
