Acer unleash new member of their Aspire family

Acer have revealed their new Aspire E100 netbook; a device aimed at the education sector.
The E100 netbook will feature a 250 GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Blutetooth 2.1 as well as 1 GB of DDR memory. An unspecified Intel Atom processor will power the device.Outwardly, the Aspire E100 has the feel of a standard netbook, but Acer have said the devices will be individually customisable with an option to incorporate the name and logo of the school into the chassis. There will even be a little pocket for students and teachers to attach a name tag to the item; Acer have got everything covered.
The E100 also comes pre-loaded with Acer’s own Classroom Manager software, which gives teachers the ability to interact with their students via a classroom network. Other educational software is also included in the bundle, which European Schoolnet – an initiative that promotes the use of ICT within education – helped to develop.
The good-looking unit is sure to appeal to pupils and educators alike; so much for Acer killing of the netbook in 2011.

This laptop can be an amazing value for that price. The case is quite attractive and has a sleek, grey shape.
