Digital Storm launch what is quite literally the coolest gaming PC to burn a hole in your pocket
Posted on November 23rd, 2010 No commentsDigital Storm have launched a new gaming computer that uses extraordinary technology to keep your computer cool whilst gaming.
As any extreme PC gamer will tell you, the two main and most important things to factor in to your system build is the processor speed and the temperature of your system.
Every other decision is affected by those two factors. If you want 4GHz from your processor, you’re going to need a mother board that can be overclocked to such a speed without compromising your system. Which then affects the power supply you use and the peripherals you have attached.Digital Storm have done most of the hardwork for you by compiling what is definitively the best set up for a gamer. With a 4.6Ghz i7-980x processor being kept in optimum condition by a cooling system that would be more fitting at Mt. Fuji than in a desktop.
This cooling system is called the ‘sub zero system’ which can come with 6GB of DDR3 and an nVidia GeForce GTX 580 (which itself is overclocked to 1.5GB).
Power? 1200-watts with do the trick and the price, $6,000 in American, possibly £4,000 in the UK.
