The Sony VAIO laptop battery in the new Mobility Series promises over 9 hours of charge.
Posted on October 20th, 2010 No commentsSony launched its new Sony VAIO Mobility range. This is a series of laptops which are not only stylish, durable and secure but also combine power, portability and connectivity making them the ideal laptops for both work and play.
Included in the Mobility range are laptops under the S, X, Y and Z series which all feature similar technology, functionality, a variety of screen sizes and all weighing less than 2kg.
The Y series has several lightweight laptops in its collection, all of which are perfect for performing a number of everyday tasks thanks to their slim styling and long battery life. The Y series is also equipped with easy-to-use features such as one-touch buttons, multi-touch track pad and a large, isolated keyboard.
The Sony VAIO Y21S1E in particular, has a battery life of up to 9 hours which is enough for a whole day of working outdoors. Its display, with LED technology, maximises the battery life and keeps you in control of your computing. It has a slim and compact shape, a weight of just 1.78kg and a cylinder hinge design making it very easy to hold. The ULV processor means that you can have it all, huge battery life AND performance. While it’s 4GB RAM and 320GB hard drive will keep most laptop users content.
Availability is unknown, but expect this to be out for the Christmas season
