If you don't know which tip fits your laptop

This solution is Ideal for clone laptops like which are imported from Taiwan and rebadged by companies like Advent (PC World), AJP, Evesham, E-machines, Elonex, Hi-grade, iFriend, Rock and many others or for laptops where the size on the DC power plug is difficult to determine. With this method you just need to use our Car adapter selector which will give you the "best fit" option with the correct voltage and suitable current output, then basically one of the tips in the tip packs supplied should fit your laptop, if it does not we will give you your money back.

IMPORTANT : Your laptops DC power plug must be round (male or female type) like the example above here. If your laptops DC power plug has two or more pins in the center or is any other shape than the round barrel type shown here then these comprehensive car adapters & tip packs will NOT work with your laptop. You can use our car adapter selector/calculator the tell you the correct combination of car adapter and tip pack, all we need to do this is enter the DC input voltage and the current in to the calculator here below.

To find out the voltage & current, turn your laptop over and look for a label, sticker or writing which shows the voltage and current, it should look something like the examples below. The voltage figure will have a "V" after the number i.e 19V and the current will have a "A" i.e 3.15A, if the is no current rating please call our sales line on 01255 422033 for assistance. You can also find these shown in a similar fashion on the original AC adapter if you have it. In the examples below the voltage & current has been marked with a red ring.

You can also manually select the Car adapter and tip pack combination from the selection below. We have put together tip packs with the 70W and 90W Car adapters that should cover nearly of all laptops that use round DC power connectors.

Tip pack 1 for laptop that have a 18.5 to 20V input.
(Contains Car adapter + tip numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 11, 12)

Tip pack 2 for laptops that have a 15V to 16V input.
(Contains Car adapter + tip numbers 7, 8, 9, 10)

Tip pack 3 contains all the round connector tips for all voltage inputs.
(Contains Car adapter + tip numbers 1,2,3,5,7,8,9,10,11,12.)
Caution must be used because if you use a 19V tip on 16V input laptop you could damage your laptop.

Tip pack 4 includes all the tips available numbers 1 to 15.
