This AMD Turion 64 X2-based system has an excellent 15.4in screen and a usable keyboard, and delivers solid performance. It's an attractively priced business workhorse that's perhaps best suited to desktop replacement duties. In keeping with the business aspect of this machine, the 15.4-inch panel is a standard TFT screen, so is less reflective when out and about. Equally impressive is the keyboard. The keys are of a good size and are firmly attached. With a shallow strike, it's easy to type with the laptop on your knees and still hold it in place with your palms, making for a comfortable typing action The design is corporate and safe, with an emphasis placed on durability and solid support. HP has put a good all-round machine together in the Compaq 6715s. While it isn't the most feature-rich, it delivers power and quality that is well above expectations for the price
