Acer Announces New Half-Tablet Computer Half-Laptop Device: The Acer Iconia

A couple of days ago Acer, in collaboration with Microsoft, officially announced the upcoming release of the Acer Iconia, a hi-tech dual-screen device that combines elements of the traditional laptop with features of the ultra portable tablet computer.
The Acer Iconia will be launched in January and it has been revealed that it will run the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
Now, this laptop represents Acer’s alternative to Toshiba’s Libretto W105 and features a virtual keyboard placed on the secondary panel of the laptop. Read the rest of this entry »
