The World’s Cheapest Laptop

The prototype of the world’s cheapest laptop was unveiled last July by India’s Human Resource Development Minister, Kapil Sibal. The touch screen device which bears a striking resemblance to Apple’s iPad will cost only £23.00. Its first recipients were about 110 million Indian schoolchildren.

Apple’s Tablet Computer Causes Laptop Sales to Drastically Drop

Analytical reports on third-quarter sales of computers the world over revealed that the sales of laptops have started to drastically drop because people are now more inclined to buy tablet computers such as the iPad.
