The new Acer TravelMate 6292 is one of the first models to launch with Acer's new ProFile design. Based on this brand new design language, the TravelMate 6292 emphasizes professional style, ultra mobility combined with personal productivity in a two spindle design. To meet the needs of the advanced mobile professional user it comes complete with all the latest features on the market today: Compact in dimensions with integrated optical device, lightweight and ultra-portable it sports a 12.1 LCD panel powered by the Core 2 Duo processor, coupled with the responsiveness of dual-channel DDRII memory and Serial ATA Hard Disk Drives. The TravelMate 6292 offers desktop PC versatility through the Acer ezDock II, a bottom docking station designed to improve expandability and flexibility. Anywhere connectivity is ensured by a wide array of connectivity options, as in the latest Wireless IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standard.
