Therefore as part of our unique ‘customer service charter’ we provide all our laptop customers one months free insurance in association with citymain.
This free insurance covers all customers who have bought a laptop from us for 30 days absolutely free.
That means that your laptop is covered against theft and accidental damage.
After this period you simply pay £7.99 per month to ensure that you continue to have peace of mind in regard to any serious damage to your laptop through accidental damage or theft. (£10.99 for Laptops over £751)
We don’t force you to remain covered after the 30 day period all you need to do is let citymain know that you no longer wish to be covered by their excellent scheme and they will cancel your cover.
Obviously with the cover you are protected against theft and accidental damage either when you are travelling or at home, unlike some home insurance schemes that only cover you in the home.
If you choose not to cancel your insurance there is nothing for you to do citymain simply collect £7.99 from your credit card each month to extend your cover. (£10.99 for Laptops over £751)
The premium basically covers all the actual hardware of the laptop excluding any batteries and or power adaptors up to the value (limited to £1000 with a £50 excess) of the purchase from Laptopshop.
